May 18, 2015 Jack J – Thirstin b/w Atmosphère 12″

Vancouver producer and one half of Pender Street Steppers Jack J — who last year released a well received (and Panda Bear approved) EP of confident, composed house music via his own rising Vancouver label/collective Mood Hut. Today, it has been announced Jack J will follow up with a two track 12″ buy way of “Thirstin’” and “Atmosphère“, set to be released in June on like-minded D.C. imprint Future Times. Of the project, Future Times says “Thirstin” takes the day-in-the-life quintessence of “Something (On My Mind)” even farther, using his voice to beautify the sparkling, spaced track.” Flipside, “Atmosphère”, the label goes on to say channels “a velvet Patrick Adams vibe”.
