December 3, 2019 Hinds share video for new single “Riding Solo”

Hinds return with a cathartic new single about coping with life on road, out today on Mom + Pop. They says this about the raucous “Riding Solo”:

feeling lonely is one of the most common human feelings, right? well, being a musician doesn’t really help. your whole life is constantly moving and the only thing that remains is yourself. and dealing with yourself, oh gosh, we all know how boring and angering that can be.
Riding Solo is about this. about us. perpetually on the move, being everywhere and nowhere at the same time. surrounded by strangers most time of the day, being 9 hours time difference from our people and what we call home, living and dying por y para la música.”

November 25, 2019 Alice Boman – Don’t Forget About Me

Alice Boman‘s forthcoming 2020 debut record Dream On is near the top of our list of next year’s most anticipated releases, and today she shares the lovely, musing fourth single “Don’t Forget About Me”, of which says:

Don’t Forget About Me is about holding on to a fantasy. It’s happened to me a few times- I’ve been into someone, or the idea of someone, but I’ve known that it’s not gonna last or happen for various reasons. You know how it’s gonna go, but you still want to hold on to some kind of illusion, just a little bit longer. You stay in a dreamlike state, just to prolong the feeling. Dancing is a way for me to do that. To be in your body, in the feeling, in the moment.”
