Some heady, late-night mutant rn’b vibes from Montreal artist Ouri on her new single “Trance Parent“, which she sums up this way:
“My first idea was to represent a sort of hypnotic artificial intelligence, the shaping of a new form of consciousness. I was inspired by everlasting rave nostalgy and classical counterpoint choirs, allowing the voices to join in very close harmonies. I’ve pushed a little further the limits I’ve set to myself concerning harmony and dissonance. Special credit to my friend Priori for his precise and sensitive ear on the mix.”
