We’ve been fans of young New Jersey producer Dan Casey bka as dd elle since his early demos in 2014 through his contribution to Ryan Hemsworth’s esteemed Secret Songs quasi-label. Today brings the announcement of his debut EP: which by the sound of the tender new single “unrequited“, continues to build on the perfectly-pitched, endearingly delicate bedroom pop that somehow makes these songs feel both immediate and profound. dd elle‘s debut EP u is out September 25, via Warp artist Babe Rainbow’s Slow Release imprint.
