August 28, 2015 Grimes starts new “artist coopertive” / label; listen to the first release
Grimes has launched a new artist cooperative/label called Eerie Organization that will release her new album in Canada. First things first: Introducing Nicole Dollanganer and her debut LP Natural Bron Losers. Grimes says of the record: “It blew up my brain so hard that I literally started Eerie to fucking put it out because it’s a crime against humanity for this music not to be heard.” Grimes describes Nicole’s sound as “Hurt NIN sound design/ pain w Dolly Parton-esque witty profundity that sometimes gets super dark and contrasty to fluttery expressive cherub vocals…” Listen to first single “You’re So Cool” below:
