February 25, 2020 Kelly Lee Owens announces new album Inner Song; shares visuals for lead single “Melt!”

Kelly Lee Owens follows up her extraordinary 2017 debut full-length with the lead single from her new LP Inner Song, coming this Spring via Smalltown Supersound. “Melt!” is a snaking, cavernous techno banger that takes aim at the urgency of the climate crisis through the use of sounds of “melting glacial ice and people skating on thin ice.” In a press release KLO says of the track “I wanted to create something that sounded hard but with organic samples, adding, I felt those were great representations of what’s happening in the world, that every moment you’re breathing and sleeping, this is taking place.” Listen below + check the mesmerizing Laneya Billingsley-created visuals below:
