April 27, 2020 Jessy Lanza annonces new album ‘All The Time’; shares video for new single “Face”

Coming of the heels of Jessy Lanza‘s vivacious single “Lick In Heaven” back in February, the hope was full-length number three was on the horizon, and today it’s official: Jessy Lanza’s new LP All The Time, is coming this summer on Hyperdub. Check to the new single “Face“, a breathy, shuffling jam with footwork finesse written + produced with her partner Jeremy Greenspan below: Jessy says this about the song:

“I was fantasizing about what everyone was thinking based on their expressions…I found myself projecting my own feelings onto the strangers I was looking at. I went home and wrote the lyrics imagining that the commuters were having telepathic conversations with each other. The questions I imagined them asking each other oscillated from sexual to confrontational: ‘Baby is it just enough? Tell me do you want it all? Baby are you feeling tough? Feeling tougher more than not?’”

All The Time is out July 24th.
