Sad news out of Stockholm today as Korallreven is apparently calling it quits. As a bittersweet final farewell they’ve shared the glistening, meditative new single “Here In Iowa” which the band laments is “exactly everything we wanted to do from the beginning but never yet achieved.”

| “It has been a trippie trip, sort of a dream come true, sort of a dream become shattered. Kinda incredible how Korallreven, with this weird name in swedish snowballed from bedroom recordings in Stockholm into a headline US tour, festivals around Europe, amazing collaborations and all this love we have felt from all around. It’s been magic. But there is a time for everything and an end to everything too, also with Korallreven.”

So, enjoy this single Here In Iowa, as you would the last drop of fresh water in the jungle. It sort of underlines exactly everything we wanted to do from the beginning but never yet achieved. Lifelovingness, big words and melancholy in three and a half minutes, for the last time.

Arrivederci,
Daniel & Marcus, Korallreven” |

Here in Iowa” will be released digitally via Cascine (US) + Tuf Love/Song (worldwide), and on full color flexi-disc via Be With Records. Good luck guys, you’ll be missed.

Leon Vynehall produced one of last year’s best and probably seemingly most overlooked records, while also delivering our favorite DJ set of the year. He returns here with a new track that could probably score your dreamiest, bleakest road trip ever. The enveloping “Midnight On Rainbow Road” is the opening track from “ambient race car music” compilation Musik For Autobahns 2, which also features music from Fort Romeau, Bicep, Joy Orbison and more.
